They are a large two-room apartment

with lots of large windows and a slightly harlequin bathroom. I'm in a secluded alley, full of big trees and in the middle of a large evergreen courtyard.

The great avenues are close by, but their noise does not reach me. I was a big office, a bit sad but very bright, and now I am full of life again.

What we suggested

to breathe new life into this house.

Transforming a basement is always complex. We liked this one because of its large, tall windows that make it extremely bright. In order not to limit its airiness, we suggested making it a two-bedroom apartment with a very large living area, insulating the basement with a crawl space and choosing a light tone stoneware for the floors. In the bathroom we wanted to recall the grits of the building, giving a touch of color and originality.
